      A criminal case is being investigated against the honor student of the healthcare system of the Russian Federation for embezzlement and misappropriation of budget funds. According to the investigation, Trofimova fictitiously employed a friend as a teacher. The friend did not work, but her salary was taken by her superior. This continued for two years. According to the FSB, the damage caused by her exceeded 2 million rubles.

      It was previously reported that the daughter of the former chief physician of Nizhny Novgorod Hospital No. 33, Tatyana Sokolova, will remain in pre-trial detention until June 2. She has been charged with fraud committed by an organized group on a particularly large scale using her official position. Sokolova heads the ophthalmology department of the city hospital, which was recently led by Pavel Zubeev, her father.
