April 13, 2026 09:01 Society A resident of the Nizhny Novgorod region has returned home from Ukrainian captivity. This was reported by the regional human rights commissioner Oksana Kislytsina on her social media. According to her, another exchange of prisoners took place on April 11, ahead of Bright Easter. As a result of the agreements, 175 families will soon be able to reunite with their loved ones. Among those released is a resident of Nizhny Novgorod, whose relatives had previously turned to the regional ombudsman for help.
The commissioner also thanked the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation, the competent authorities, and the federal ombudsman Tatyana Moskalkova for their assistance in organizing the exchange.
