This concerns the high-speed "Lastochka" trains, where the "Migom" service has been launched. It allows passengers to board without presenting a passport, the regional government press service reported. Currently, the service operates in pilot mode and is available at the initial stations of the Moscow – Nizhny Novgorod routes, as well as on routes to Kostroma and Ivanovo. To use the innovation, it is necessary to pre-register confirmed biometrics – this can be done at a bank or through on-site registration, and then consent to data processing must be given. The verification occurs right at boarding: the conductor uses a portable device that checks the passenger's data. At the same time, people still have the choice – to present a passport or use biometrics. It is noted that the technology is part of the "Migom" platform, which combines various digital services: from hotel check-ins to receiving services at the MFC and going through pre-flight procedures without documents.
