      On April 13, 2026, at 09:41, Economy In Nizhny Novgorod's Chkalov International Airport, an exhibition of historical real estate objects in the region has opened. This was reported by Deputy Governor Yegor Polyakov on his Max channel. The exhibition aims to attract investors to the preservation and restoration of historical buildings in the Nizhny Novgorod region. "We are consistently involving historical buildings in business turnover. Today, investors are presented with dozens of objects throughout the region — from Nizhny Novgorod to small towns," he noted. According to him, the implementation of such projects allows for new development in the territories, creates points of attraction, and increases their economic activity. Restored buildings often turn into hotels, restaurants, public spaces, and cultural centers, which enhances the tourist appeal of the region. The region, in turn, provides investors with support measures, including preferential rent, compensation for restoration costs, and subsidization of interest rates.
