      Another bright achievement for Nizhny Novgorod sports is Elizabeth Abrahamyan, a student of the Olympic reserve sports school No. 13 for table tennis, who performed brilliantly at the WTT Contender Tunis 2026 international tournament. The girl not only won — she took home two gold medals: in singles and in doubles with Moscow's Maria Panfilova. The singles final was tense: Elizabeth managed to turn the tide of the match and won against an athlete from South Korea with a score of 4:3. In the doubles matches, our girls also showed character — in a battle against a Japanese duo, they managed to snatch victory 3:2. Additionally, Elizabeth also shone in mixed doubles — she played with Frenchman Esteban Dorr.
