As noted by Natalia Savitskaya, the chief physician of the Nizhny Novgorod Regional Center for Public Health and Medical Prevention, adherence to the principles of a healthy lifestyle provides a comprehensive effect—from strengthening physical health to improving psycho-emotional well-being. According to her, regular physical activity and a balanced diet help strengthen the immune system, maintain normal weight, and reduce the risks of developing chronic diseases, including diabetes and cardiovascular pathologies.
