Motorists are awaiting new developments on Gogol Street in Nizhny Novgorod.

      April 4, 2026 09:00 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, starting April 7, the direction of the main road at the intersection of Gogol and Nizhgorodskaya streets will change. This was reported by the Department of Transport. According to the new scheme, priority will be given to vehicles traveling straight on Gogol Street. Drivers on Nizhgorodskaya Street will need to yield. Work on the dismantling and installation of priority road signs will begin on April 7 at 12:00. The work will be carried out by specialists from the Municipal Budgetary Institution Specialized Installation and Operation Institution of the city of Nizhny Novgorod. As reminded by the city administration, this traffic scheme was already in effect at this intersection until October 13, 2025. It was later temporarily changed due to the increased traffic flow on Nizhgorodskaya Street caused by repair work on neighboring streets. Motorists are asked to be attentive when passing through the intersection and to familiarize themselves in advance with the updated traffic organization.
