Electricity supply has been restored in the Kstovo district after a drone attack.

      April 5, 2026 10:18 Society Electricity supply has been restored in two settlements of the Kstovo district after repelling a drone attack. This was reported on social media by the mayor of Nizhny Novgorod, Yuri Shalabaev.

      As previously stated by the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, last night air defense forces repelled an attack by 30 enemy drones in the industrial zone of the Kstovo district. As a result of debris falling, two facilities of LLC "Lukoil-Nizhny Novgorodnefteorgsintez," Novogorkovskaya CHPP, and several residential buildings were damaged.

      The population was not harmed. "Damage assessment of the residential buildings is being carried out by specialists," said the mayor.

      According to the Unified Dispatching Service of the Kstovo district, electricity supply has been resumed in two district settlements. Information about other damages is being clarified.

      District authorities will assist with the restoration of damages, Shalabaev added.

      Recall that on April 3, debris from downed drones fell in the Kstovo and Prioksky districts of the regional center.
