Three more bridges were flooded in the Nizhny Novgorod region.
April 2, 2026 18:15 Society New cases of flooding caused by the flood have been recorded in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Nine low-water bridges, one section of road, and 40 adjacent territories have been flooded in the region, reported the regional emergency management agency.
In the past 24 hours, the water level has risen over two low-water bridges across the P'yana River — near the village of Nikol'skoye on the Yur'yevo – Nikol'skoye highway and 500 meters from the village of Sobolevo.
Another bridge has been flooded over the Rudnya River between the village of Diveevo Usad and the village of Natalinka in the Pochinkovsky municipal district.
Additionally, water has entered ten adjacent territories in Uren on the streets of Rosa Luxemburg and Filatov. In the village of Chernukha in the Arzamas district, 18 plots have been flooded.
According to emergency services, there are no casualties or injuries. Evacuation of residents to temporary accommodation points is not required.
Earlier, it was reported that four adjacent territories, six bridges, and one section of road had been flooded. It was also announced that the bridge over the Tyosha will be temporarily closed, which will temporarily change two suburban bus routes in Arzamas.
Since April 1, a state of heightened readiness has been introduced in the Nizhny Novgorod region due to the flood.
