Ryazhenka with a poor-quality composition was discovered in the Nizhny Novgorod region during monitoring by specialists from the testing laboratory of the Federal State Budgetary Institution "VNIIZH". This was reported by the press service of the agency.
Experts checked samples of ryazhenka with a fat content of 2.5%. The results revealed that the product does not comply with GOST standards regarding the fatty acid composition.
As explained in the laboratory, such non-compliance may indicate violations in production: the use of low-quality raw materials, technological errors, or the addition of milk fat substitutes. For consumers, this may affect the taste, smell, and texture of the familiar product. Information about the identified violation has been entered into the automated system "VESTA" and sent to the Rosselkhoznadzor Administration for the Nizhny Novgorod region and the Mari El Republic for appropriate measures to be taken.
