When pensions and benefits will arrive in April: schedule for the Nizhny Novgorod region

      On March 30, 2026, at 09:26, the Nizhny Novgorod branch of the Social Fund of Russia announced the schedule for pension and social benefit payments in April.

      It is worth noting that if the established payment date falls on a weekend or holiday, the funds are transferred in advance — on the last working day before that date. For pension recipients on "Mir" bank cards, the funds are credited within the day.

      Thus, in April, pension payments will be rescheduled as follows:

      - For April 4-5, funds will arrive on April 3;

      - For April 11-12, funds will arrive on April 10;

      - For April 18-19, funds will arrive on April 17;

      - For April 25-26, funds will arrive on April 24.

      Social benefits in the region will be transferred according to the following schedule:

      On April 3, Nizhny Novgorod residents will receive a unified benefit, payments for children, pregnant women, children of military personnel, and unemployed citizens. On the same day, payments from maternity capital for children under three years old will be made, as April 5 falls on a weekend. On April 8, the monthly benefit for caring for a child under one and a half years will be transferred.

      The Social Fund also clarified that if the benefit payment date coincides with a weekend, the funds are transferred in advance — similar to pension payments.

      Recipients who receive payments through "Russian Post" branches will receive funds for March according to the established schedule.

      Additional information can be obtained from the contact center of the regional branch of the Social Fund at 8 (800) 100-00-01 (the call is free). The line operates from Monday to Thursday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, and on Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM.

      Earlier, Nizhny Novgorod residents were informed about the right to a pension for those who have never worked a day.

      It is worth noting that residents of the Volga capital consider a pension of 53,100 rubles to be decent.
