Nizhny Novgorod families are invited to the All-Russian Family Tourism Festival "More than a Journey."

      The competitive selection for participation in the All-Russian Family Tourism Festival has begun, which will take place from July 9 to 12 in the Republic of Mordovia. As a result of the competition, more than 150 families from all over Russia will have the opportunity to participate in the event organized by the Rosmolodyozh program "More than a Journey," which is implemented within the framework of the national project "Youth and Children." The festival will feature young and large families with children, family dynasties, as well as travel enthusiasts across Russia. The festival will take place in the format of a tent camp. The program includes master classes on hiking tourism, meetings with travelers and mentors, lectures, and educational formats from the "More than a Journey" academy. Participants can look forward to creative media marathons, sports events for the whole family, campfire evenings, guitar songs, folk crafts fairs, quests, and concerts by beloved artists. "About 500 people will become winners of the competitive selection, more than 1,000 people will be able to join the festival from July 9 to 12 in a free accommodation mode, and another 3,500 people will visit the festival on July 11 as part of the festival day. Participants will enjoy a rich program: master classes on hiking tourism, meetings with travelers and mentors, lectures, and educational formats from the "More than a Journey" academy. This will allow everyone to once again feel pride for our Motherland, discover its cultural diversity and natural beauty!" noted the General Director of the Rosmolodyozh program "More than a Journey," Olesya Teterina. To participate in the competitive selection, a family team consisting of two or more generations must submit a joint application on the website: https://morethantrip.ru/turfest2026. The team must consist of at least three people. When submitting the application, the team needs to complete the following tasks: - make a post on the social network "VKontakte" with the hashtags #FamilyAtTheFestival, #MoreThanAJourney, and #MoreThanAFamily, where they need to share their expectations from the festival; - prepare a family video presentation on the topic "Why our family should participate in the festival" lasting no more than 1.5 minutes; - create a presentation with an interesting and safe family tourist route in their region; - register each participant of the family team. The application deadline is until May 20, 2026.
