New transportation changes await Nizhny Novgorod residents starting April 1.
March 30, 2026 13:58 Society Starting April 1, several bus routes are planned to be extended in Nizhny Novgorod. The changes will affect routes No. 74, 94, 99, and 171. This was reported by the CRTS.
Route No. 74 will be extended from the Burnakovsky microdistrict to the Komsomolsky settlement in the Sormovsky district. This is expected to increase the carrying capacity on the section from Soyuzny Lane to the "Varya" station and redistribute passenger flow between routes. Additionally, the innovation will help reduce the maximum occupancy of buses traveling from the Sormovsky district to the hilly part of the city. The number of vehicles on the line will be increased to 10 units.
Route No. 94 will be extended from Gorky Square to the Upper Pechery microdistrict. Buses will travel along Vaneeva, Nadezhda Suslova, and Brinsky streets. The changes aim to improve communication between Belinsky Street (stop "Opera House") and the Upper Pechery microdistrict. The route is planned to operate 11 buses.
For residents of the Nagulino settlement, a multimodal transport connection will be organized: route No. 99 will be extended with certain trips to this locality. Meanwhile, the schedule from the Gnilitsy settlement to the Novostriginsky cemetery will remain the same.
Buses No. 171 will run from the Berezovy Klyn settlement to the Medvezhya Dolina microdistrict on Rodionova Street. This will improve access to social facilities on Rodionova Street and provide additional opportunities for transfers to different parts of the city.
It was previously reported that the schedule for bus No. 50 was adjusted in Nizhny Novgorod due to a train.
