The program is aimed at supporting participants of the Special Military Operation (SMO) and their family members in creating their own businesses. The application period will last until April 1, 2026. The "YOUR business" project is being implemented by the regional Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship and the regional center "My Business" with the support of the branch of the "Defenders of the Fatherland" fund, the Nizhny Novgorod region's Labor and Employment Administration, the Center for Social Sphere Innovations, and the "Work of Russia" personnel center under the federal project "Small and Medium Entrepreneurship" of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy." The Minister of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Maxim Cherkasov, noted that the program for the second season of the "YOUR business" project is structured so that participants can sequentially go through all stages of launching a business – from choosing a direction to developing an idea and starting a project. "Experts from the regional center 'My Business' will provide comprehensive support to participants: they will help adapt ideas to real market conditions. Applications for participation in the project have been received from participants of the special military operation and their family members from 39 municipalities in the Nizhny Novgorod region. Participants in the program plan to develop businesses related to freight transportation, social assistance, tourism, public catering organization, and construction," said Maxim Cherkasov. As part of the project, participants will undergo training in the basics of entrepreneurship, participate in seminars and training sessions on developing business competencies, and visit production sites of enterprises in the Nizhny Novgorod region. An important part of the program will be business games in municipalities. Here, participants will be able to practically work through their ideas – calculate a financial model, assess possible risks, and think about how to further develop the project. As a result, 24 finalists will be determined, who will receive certificates for services to launch advertising on social media. In addition, the business plans prepared during the project will give participants the opportunity to apply for a social contract for participants of the SMO and take advantage of other state support measures to start their business. The finalists will participate in the defense of business projects in Nizhny Novgorod, after which ten best initiatives will be identified. Their authors will additionally receive certificates for launching an advertising campaign on the radio, creating, refining, and setting up a website, and assistance in registering a trademark. Project participants will also attend a master class on "Presentation of Business Ideas" and a training session on "Franchise Acceleration. Franchise as a Way to Scale Business." Additionally, as part of the project, participants will be able to undergo professional diagnostics at the "Work of Russia" personnel center and receive support from the branch of the State Fund "Defenders of the Fatherland." Applications for the "YOUR business" project can be submitted by participants and veterans of the special military operation, their family members, as well as family members of deceased and missing participants of the special military operation.
