The authorities have approved a site for an industrial park in Dzerzhinsk.

      March 27, 2026 08:00 Economy The Council for Land and Property Relations under the regional government has approved the application of the Regional Development Corporation for the allocation of a land plot in Dzerzhinsk for the creation of a state industrial park. The site is planned to be located near the freight yard of Doskino. The total area of the industrial park will exceed 310 hectares. The territory will be equipped with the necessary engineering infrastructure — water supply, sewage, gas, and electricity. Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod Region Yegor Polyakov reported that systematic work is underway in the region to develop investment infrastructure, with particular attention being paid to the construction of industrial parks with the necessary engineering equipment. He reminded that in 2025 the region received approval for a treasury loan to create infrastructure for an industrial park in the Volodarsky district. A total of six industrial parks are planned to be created in different municipalities in the region. According to the CEO of the Regional Development Corporation Igor Ishchenko, 15 residents have expressed their intention to implement projects in the territory of the future park, most of whom work in the metalworking industry. An additional advantage of the site will be the nearby railway branch, which will simplify the transportation of raw materials and finished products. It is worth noting that Nizhny Novgorod Region ranks 2nd in the National Rating of the Investment Climate by the Agency for Strategic Initiatives. Since 2025, support measures for enterprises and businesses have been implemented as part of the national project "Effective and Competitive Economy," which is carried out on the instructions of the President of the Russian Federation Vladimir Putin. Investors can apply for a land plot through the "Investor's Personal Account" on the regional property ministry's website. The service was created as part of the lean project "End-to-End Investment Flow," implemented according to the regional investment standard to reduce project implementation times and the number of requested documents. Entrepreneurs can also send inquiries on problematic issues through the feedback platform on the "Gosuslugi" portal.
