A hotel for 160 million rubles is planned to be built in Verkhnie Pechery.

      March 27, 2026 18:26 Society In Nizhny Novgorod, the possibility of constructing a new hotel is being discussed. The initiator of the project is the company LLC "Leto". The issue was considered on March 26 at a meeting of the Council for Land and Property Relations under the regional government, reports "DomostroyNN".

      The investor intends to implement the project on a plot of 7,400 square meters in the area of house No. 2 on Nizhepecherskaya Street. Nearby are "School 800" and the shopping center "Olymp". The area of the future building is expected to exceed 990 square meters.

      The estimated investment volume is 160 million rubles.

      However, the city administration did not support the initiative. They believe that the selected area is more suitable for a sports facility rather than a hotel.

      Additionally, questions arose regarding the proximity of the plot to the church. In this regard, the meeting participants decided not to make a final decision for now. The consideration of the project will continue after obtaining approval from the diocese.

      It was reported that at the recent land council, 21 investment projects worth 13.8 billion rubles were approved.
