      In Nizhny Novgorod, a tournament for the board game "Treasures of the People's Valor" took place at the "Kupno. Start" venue, dedicated to the Year of Unity of the Peoples of Russia, declared by President Vladimir Putin. The participants of the intellectual-strategic game were teams of elementary school students. The event was organized by the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory" and the creative association "Vostorg". Students from Nizhny Novgorod schools No. 134, 55, 21, and the Orthodox gymnasium named after Alexander Nevsky participated in the competition of Russian history experts. The game, created based on the events of 1612, allowed students not only to test their knowledge but also to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of Nizhny Novgorod at the beginning of the 17th century. In a live strategy format, each participant chose a role: from a merchant collecting funds for the militia to a warrior responsible for armament. The teams had the task of moving across the game board, completing thematic tasks, and effectively gathering resources (money and weapons) necessary for forming the people's militia under the leadership of Kuzma Minin and Dmitry Pozharsky. A special cartoon about the Time of Troubles was created for the game, which tells about Minin's appeal to the Nizhny Novgorod citizens and the sights of Nizhny Novgorod during that period. All tournament participants received diplomas.

      "Our task is to speak to children in a language they understand, turning textbook pages into living emotions and experiences. The tournament 'Treasures of the People's Valor' is an example of how strategic thinking, teamwork, and deep respect for history come together in one game. We see how the eyes of the kids light up when they make decisions on their own to bring the militia's victory closer. This means that the memory of the valor of the Nizhny Novgorod citizens lives on and is passed on to new generations," said Maria Samodelkina, head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the "Volunteers of Victory".
