A support mechanism for sports organizations has been developed in the Nizhny Novgorod region.

      A support mechanism for private sports organizations, which have seen a significant increase in the cost of renting land plots owned by the state and municipalities, has been developed in the Nizhny Novgorod region. This was reported by Governor Gleb Nikitin on his channel in MAX. According to him, the increase in rental costs has affected those who need large areas for training and competitions—such as football fields, tennis courts, and equestrian clubs. Private facilities where children train will definitely receive assistance, the governor promised. He mentioned that a registry of facilities is being formed at the regional Ministry of Sports, with three main criteria defined for inclusion. The primary OKVED must be in the field of sports, and the facility itself must be included in the All-Russian Register of Sports Facilities. In this case, the land plot can be rented under the regional project "Land for 1 Ruble" (with a rental fee of 1 ruble per year for 10 years). "Organizations must also take on certain obligations: to provide free hours and benefits for children under 18 from socially disadvantaged categories," noted the regional head. To take advantage of the mechanism, one must contact the Ministry of Sports. "Municipalities need to provide similar support measures in their regulatory acts," recommended Gleb Nikitin.
