      World War II veteran, rear worker, and labor veteran Klavdiya Egorova, residing in the Moscow district of Nizhny Novgorod, celebrated her centenary.

      According to the head of the Moscow district administration, Vladimir Kropotin, Klavdiya Ilyinichna belongs to a generation of resilient and selfless people who have gone through many trials while preserving their love for life.

      "People who have managed to reach the century mark deserve not only respect but true admiration and awe! I want to express the warmest and most sincere words of gratitude for your wisdom and life experience. Your work is a true school of life! It is such selfless and dedicated people that make our world better!" he said, presenting a commemorative gift to the birthday girl.

      Klavdiya Ilyinichna Egorova was born in the village of Dubenshchina in the Lyskovsky district of the Gorky region in a large family. She graduated from seven grades of secondary school. During the Great Patriotic War, she was engaged in digging trenches, loading peat into wagons, and harvesting timber. In the post-war period, she worked in a collective farm. In 1950, she and her husband moved to the city of Gorky, where their son was born. She began working at the aviation plant "Sokol," where she worked as a painter, accountant, and riveter.

      After retiring, she continued her work at City Hospital No. 28 as a cook's assistant. Klavdiya Egorovna has over 40 years of total work experience.
