In the village of Berezovka in the Bogorodsky district, a general practitioner office has opened.

      On March 20, 2026, a ceremonial opening of a new general practitioner office took place in the village of Berezovka, Bogorodsky municipal district. The modular building was constructed and equipped with modern equipment thanks to the implementation of the primary healthcare modernization program of the national project "Long and Active Life." Representatives of the district administration, medical staff, and local residents joined the opening ceremony. The first deputy head of the Bogorodsky district administration, Alexander Zakharov, noted that thanks to the joint efforts of the region and the municipality, comfortable conditions for patient reception have been ensured. He emphasized that now the residents of Berezovka will be able to receive qualified medical assistance, including physiotherapy procedures, in close proximity to their place of residence. The Ministry of Health of the Nizhny Novgorod region reported that the total cost of the project exceeded 26 million rubles. This amount included work on preparing the site for the installation of the facility, the actual construction of the building, and the purchase of 150 units of medical equipment and furniture. According to the chief physician of the Bogorodsk Central District Hospital, Svetlana Tebekina, among the acquired equipment are tonometers, stethoscopes, refrigerators for medications, thermocontainers, splints, stretchers, as well as computer equipment with internet access, an ECG machine, a defibrillator, express analyzers for determining blood sugar levels, cholesterol, and cardiac markers, physiotherapy equipment, a changing table, examination couches, specialized medical furniture, and much more. The general practitioner office includes rooms for the doctor and paramedic, an examination room, a treatment room, and a physiotherapy room. The facility is connected to central electricity, water supply, and sewage systems. Patient reception will be conducted by general practitioner Lyubov Kuznetsova, paramedic Irina Sukhanova, and nurse Natalia Porshneva. "Previously, our medical institution was located on the first floor of a residential building, which did not meet modern requirements. The created conditions allow for medical assistance to be provided at a new level. Thanks to the internet connection and the acquisition of modern equipment, patients can undergo medical examinations, take tests, and receive results directly in the general practitioner office, without the need to go to other medical organizations," said Lyubov Kuznetsova. The new general practitioner office will provide accessible primary healthcare to more than 1,500 residents of the village of Berezovka. The doctor will accept both adult patients and children. It should be noted that the national project "Long and Active Life" is being implemented in the country at the direction of the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin. It aims to increase life expectancy by 2030 and involves the renovation of clinics, outpatient clinics, and midwifery stations, attracting qualified medical personnel to medical institutions, applying new approaches in the prevention, diagnosis, and treatment of chronic diseases, improving emergency medical care and rehabilitation systems, developing a network of national research centers, and digitizing the industry.
