Social district officers held master classes for residents in Nizhny Novgorod and Dzerzhinsk in support of the soldiers of the Special Military Operation.

      Social precinct officers organized a unified day of master classes in support of participants in the special military operation. The event took place in the territories of Nizhny Novgorod and Dzerzhinsk at 11 venues. The main venue was the neighborhood center #vMeste of the Lenin district, where participants of the special military operation also arrived to support and thank all those involved. "Making candles and camouflage nets is a significant and very necessary job that truly helps and brings victory closer. I came here today to express my sincere gratitude to all these people on behalf of the fighters and personally," said a participant of the special military operation with the call sign "Zyatyok." Dozens of residents gathered at various public venues to make trench candles, which are in daily demand in the combat zone. All materials were provided by the "Social Precinct" project. Social precinct officers accompanied the work at all venues, helping participants master the technology of making trench candles, which will be sent to the area of the special military operation by the nearest humanitarian convoy. "Trench candles are not just a source of heat. They are a sign of respect, support, and care for our fighters. It is very important that participants of the master classes leave inscriptions and wishes on the candles for the defenders to return home alive, whole, and unharmed. In each such candle, there is human warmth and sincere emotions that will definitely reach the guys," said Olga Lazorenko, a social precinct officer of the Lenin district of Nizhny Novgorod. Supporting the fighters of the special military operation and their families remains a priority task for social precinct officers. Similar charitable and volunteer actions will continue to be regularly held in all territories of the project implementation. Earlier, the governor of the Nizhny Novgorod region, Gleb Nikitin, positively assessed the work of social precinct officers in supporting participants of the special military operation and their families, and also instructed to continue and strengthen this direction. Let us remind you that "Social Precinct" is a public-social project initiated by Gleb Nikitin and launched in the Nizhny Novgorod region in 2023. Its mission is to establish a direct connection between residents and government authorities. The project covers Nizhny Novgorod, Kstovo, Dzerzhinsk, Arzamas, and Bogorodsk and unites about 1,000 activists. Social precinct officers work on specific everyday problems of citizens, help navigate support measures and regional programs, and also formulate and convey systemic requests to the level of decision-making.
