This was reported by the Minister of Youth Policy of the region, Svetlana Anufrieva, to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod." According to her, there are currently 12 youth centers and 9 youth spaces operating in the region. Centers are usually separate buildings, while spaces can be organized based on already existing institutions, such as cultural houses or educational organizations. However, their functionality is the same — they are places for communication, events, and youth initiatives. "Municipalities are all different, including in terms of youth population. In some places, there is simply no need for a large space. There, we open small branded spaces equipped with various technology so that young people can gather there," she said. In 2026, youth centers will appear in Volodarsk and Balakhna. The first will occupy a building of about 900 square meters, and the second — about 800. In addition, youth spaces will open in Vacha and the Voskresensky district. A youth attraction point is also planned to open in Pavlov. According to the minister, funding has already been allocated, and repair work is underway. Earlier, it was reported that the youth center "Height" in Nizhny Novgorod is celebrating its fifth anniversary.
