More than 16,000 children and adults attended the "New Year in Every Yard!" celebrations at the venues in Nizhny Novgorod and Kstovo.
More than 16 thousand children and adults gathered for the city social project "New Year in Every Yard!" at 54 venues in Nizhny Novgorod, including Kstovo for the first time. The project has been implemented since 2021 with the support of the city head Yuri Shalabaev. This was reported by the city department of social communications and youth policy. The New Year yard celebrations took place from December 26 to January 8. At each venue, guests were greeted by beloved New Year characters Grandfather Frost and the Snow Maiden. Residents of Nizhny Novgorod, along with winter wizards, danced in circles and sang songs, and each child received a sweet gift. "Children and adults happily participated in the festive events, which brought them much joy, warmth, and the atmosphere of true New Year magic. Such events create bright memories and truly allow people to feel the spirit of celebration and neighborliness," noted the director of the department of social communications and youth policy, Arthur Shtoyan. "Every year, the number of participants in the project grows, and we strive to cover new venues to give everyone a sense of real New Year wonder. It is especially valuable that thanks to the yard celebrations, people communicate more, support neighborhood ties, and revive the good traditions of neighborliness," emphasized the director of the Nizhny Novgorod Public Self-Government NGO, Oksana Dektereva. "New Year in Every Yard!" is more than just a series of celebrations. It is a kind, unifying tradition that strengthens neighborhood ties and gives a sense of celebration to the residents of Nizhny Novgorod, and now to the residents of Kstovo as well. Volunteers play a key role here – our indispensable helpers and creators of good mood. They not only assist in the organization but also become conduits of the festive spirit, thus uniting residents of different ages and yards. It is a great honor for us to be part of this large-scale and much-needed initiative, which only gains strength year after year," shared Maria Samodelkina, head of the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory."
Let us remind you that the project is organized by the Nizhny Novgorod Public Self-Government NGO and the Nizhny Novgorod regional branch of the All-Russian public movement "Volunteers of Victory" with the support of the Nizhny Novgorod administration.
