The court fined a resident of Balakhna for evading military service.

      On December 3, 2025, at 19:00, the Balakhna City Court considered the case of a local resident accused of evading military service, the court's press service reported. According to the case materials, the man repeatedly attempted to challenge the decisions of the draft commission in court. However, despite the lack of valid reasons, he did not appear at the military enlistment office at the appointed time. Based on part 1 of article 328 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation, the court found him guilty of evading military service by conscription. As a punishment, the defendant was fined 60,000 rubles. Currently, the verdict has not yet entered into legal force.
