Traffic on Alma-Atinskaya Street in Nizhny Novgorod will be restricted for a month.

      From 6:00 a.m. on January 12 until 6:00 a.m. on February 12, 2026, a temporary restriction on vehicle traffic will be imposed on the section of Alma-Atinskaya Street near building No. 82 in Nizhny Novgorod. This was reported by the city Department of Transport and Communications.

      The restrictions are due to planned construction and installation work. Motorists are advised to use alternative roads to bypass the section.

      City services remind road users to exercise caution and to pay close attention to road signs and markings.

      In addition, from 6:00 a.m. on January 12 until 11:59 p.m. on April 30, 2026, a temporary ban on vehicle passage will be imposed on Baev Lane near building No. 2 on Odesskaya Street and on the stretch between building No. 8 on Dalnyaya Street and No. 2 on Odesskaya Street. The restriction is related to the need to carry out repair works. Drivers are recommended to choose alternative routes along adjacent streets.

      It was previously reported that traffic on the section of the R-177 federal highway in the Voskresensky District will be restricted until September 2026.
