Almost 10 cm of snow may fall in Nizhny Novgorod on January 3. At the same time it will warm sharply: from −11°C to −1°C, the mayor's office said, citing meteorologists.
Due to the worsening weather, road crews have switched to a 24/7 mode. Roads are being treated with anti-icing materials, and meltwater flooding is being addressed as needed. In addition, snow is being cleared from sidewalks. This information was provided on Saturday evening by the city administration's press service.
It was earlier reported that the bad weather will persist on January 4. Drivers are asked to be more careful behind the wheel.
