The prosecutor's office has taken the traffic accident that killed four near Volodarsk under its supervision.

      The Prosecutor’s Office of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has launched an investigation into a fatal crash that occurred this afternoon in the Volodarsky District. This was reported by the agency.

      This afternoon on the highway near the settlement of Smolino, two passenger cars and a truck collided. Four people died as a result of the road traffic accident.

      To establish all the circumstances of the incident and to oversee the actions of emergency services, the deputy prosecutor of Volodarsky District, Dmitry Mukhin, went to the scene.

      The progress of the investigation is under special supervision by the regional prosecutor’s office.

      Earlier it was reported that another fatal road accident involving a truck occurred today in the Vorotynsky District. There, the truck ran over two people.
