Artyom Kavinov: "We continue, at Volodin's instruction, to monitor the progress of major renovations of schools in the region."

      State Duma deputy Artyom Kavinov, during a working trip through his electoral district, inspected the progress of major repairs and the construction of social facilities in the Semenovsky and Voskresensky urban districts. The projects are being implemented as part of United Russia’s people's program, as well as party and federal projects.

      The first stop of the party delegation’s route was Voskresenskaya Secondary School.

      “We continue, at the instruction of State Duma Chairman Vyacheslav Volodin, to monitor the progress of major school renovations in the region. At Voskresenskaya Secondary School the major renovation is being completed under federal programs and the party project ‘New School.’ Modern, neat, beautiful. Everything is operational. One building is new, the other has been comprehensively renovated, and you can hardly tell them apart visually. A unified standard of equipment, well-thought-out solutions: brighter, more ‘cheerful’ walls for the little ones, calmer and more restrained ones for older students, two multipurpose gyms, spacious classrooms and halls, a large cafeteria and a new kitchen, and a cloakroom that would make any district House of Culture envious,” the deputy said following the visit.

      During the inspection, Artyom Kavinov then visited the renovated district library and the new building of the social protection administration. Special attention was paid to Victory Park. At one of his previous citizen receptions, local residents, public figures and local historians asked the deputy to refurbish the Eternal Flame. The task has been completed.

      As part of the trip, Artyom Kavinov traditionally met with local residents. The central topic of discussion was outfitting the local ski base with winter sports equipment.

      “This is one of the key northern districts that helped this year with the staging of our district children’s project ‘Homeland of the Winners.’ Therefore the development of winter sports and the equipping of the new ski base will definitely be supported,” the parliamentarian said.

      In Semenov, Artyom Kavinov visited two construction sites where social facilities are being built: a kindergarten and a House of Culture.

      “Strategically important facilities. The House of Culture is very beautiful, with a tower and a clock; the city is already proud of it. There is a need, the plans are ambitious — to complete it next year. With this momentum, we are certainly confident,” said Artyom Kavinov.

      Next, the party delegation checked the landscaping of the area located at 27 Chelyuskintsev.

      “Here, disparate social protection structures from around the city have come together like puzzle pieces into a single ‘picture,’ on the principle of a ‘one-stop shop,’ or rather ‘one house.’ Inside — stylish, spacious, clean, modern and convenient. Outside — paths have been laid and concreted, mothers with strollers stroll happily. The staff promised flower beds and flowers — and there’s no doubt it will be beautiful. I am glad that the landscaping we helped organize around the new center was liked by everyone: visitors, townspeople, staff, and especially children. The center’s results are impressive: recently there has not been a single child removal. Targeted assistance is provided to every family: there is enough space, patience and professional skill. The team has enormous inner strength,” the deputy noted after the visit.

      The parliamentarian paid special attention to the free rental point for newborn items located at the center.

      “This is part of the demographic support from the Ministry of Labor and the national project ‘Family.’ The project really works: there has been a stream of visitors from day one. You can borrow for free cribs, strollers, playpens, high chairs, changing tables, baby baths, electric swings, walkers, car seats and infant carriers. This is a big help for large families, single mothers, student and young families, families with children with disabilities, low-income families, and families of participants in the special military operation,” Artyom Kavinov said.

      At the end of the visit the deputy went to the station square, where, together with the city leadership, he discussed the area’s historical heritage, prospects for the park zone and the development of the space.

      The party task force is an effective tool for promptly responding to the requests of the region’s residents. One of the project’s most important tasks is to monitor the implementation of United Russia’s people's program.
