Children’s clinics in Nizhny Novgorod have faced a sharp rise in home visit calls due to a growing wave of respiratory infections among children and adolescents. According to the Telegram channel "Bokal presseka," medics note a significant increase in requests for medical assistance.
In just one Monday, Children’s Polyclinic No. 39 in the Sovetsky District made more than 200 home visits to young patients to provide aid. Doctors link this workload to the seasonal spread of ARVI.
Because of difficulties reaching contact centers by phone, medics recommend that parents use online services to call a doctor — for example, via a special form on the website. Pediatricians also remind that there is not much time left before the virus begins active circulation. Medics strongly advise parents to consider vaccinating their children, which will help reduce the risk of severe illness.
