Governor Gleb Nikitin has decided to reward mathematics and physics teachers.

      Teachers whose students scored highly on the Unified State Exam (USE) will receive 5,000 rubles each.

      More than 10.5 million rubles have been allocated to reward Nizhny Novgorod mathematics and physics teachers who prepared students to score highly on the USE, the press service of the governor and government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region reports.

      According to the Ministry of Education and Science, a one-time payment will be received by 541 teachers. For each high-score result, every teacher will receive 5,000 rubles.

      Recall that the decision to grant one-time incentive payments was made by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, in the autumn of 2024. Earlier support had been provided to 543 teachers.

      According to the results of the 2024/2025 examination campaign, a high-score result is recognized as 77 points in profile-level mathematics and 76 points in physics.

      In total, 2,106 high-score USE results were registered in the region: 1,617 in mathematics and 489 in physics.

      The largest number of teachers who prepared students for high results are in the Sovetsky, Avtozavodsky and Nizhegorodsky districts of Nizhny Novgorod, as well as in Dzerzhinsk, Sarov and the Gorodetsky district.

      More high-scoring students were prepared by teachers from Lyceum No. 38, Lyceum No. 40 and the "Center for Gifted Children" of Nizhny Novgorod.

      "Payments to teachers have already begun; this process is planned to be completed by December 15," the ministry noted.

      Recall that work to support teachers is being carried out in accordance with the goals of the national project "Youth and Children," which is being implemented at the instruction of the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
