Four Nizhny Novgorod bus routes changed on December 1.

      As of December 1, the route of bus No. 47 in Nizhny Novgorod has been changed. It now stops at the 10th quarter of the Kuznechikha Gorod residential complex (formerly "Novaya Kuznechikha").

      The bus now runs along Heroes of Donbass Avenue. The rest of the route remains unchanged: the vehicle continues to run from the Akademichesky residential complex via Brinsky and General Ivliev streets.

      The timetable remains unchanged, thanks to a reduction in layover time between trips. In addition, starting January 1, 2026, mid-class buses are planned to be deployed on this route to increase passenger comfort.

      Routes of buses No. 509, 509a and 509b operating between the Kanavinsky TPU and the bus station in Gorodets have also been adjusted. Within the Borsky District the route has been shortened — buses no longer enter the settlement of Neklyudovo. This change is intended to reduce travel time for residents of the Gorodetsky District traveling to Nizhny Novgorod.

The Nizhny Novgorod Investigative Directorate added that necessary investigative actions and operational-search measures are currently being carried out to collect and secure evidence in the case. Earlier it was reported that the Nizhny Novgorod prosecutor’s office demanded a review of the dismissal of the arrested deputy head of GUMMiD, who was detained in July 2025. The bribery case is also being investigated in relation to former GUMMiD head Andrey Levdikov, who resigned in May 2025. A court extended his pre-trial detention until December 15, 2025.
