Management companies in Dzerzhinsk insulated walls in 60 apartments in 2025 after inspections by the State Housing Inspectorate (GHI). The GHI reported this.

The agency intervened after residents of building No. 8/5 on Dzerzhinsky Prospekt complained. Last winter they reported cold and mold in the apartment. The inspection confirmed the problems, and the management company (DUK) was fined 54,000 rubles. The organization was also issued an order to carry out the work.

However, the management company was slow to comply, postponing deadlines and dragging out the process. In the end the State Housing Inspectorate went to court, which ordered the company to comply. The facade insulation in the problematic apartment was completed this autumn.

The GHI added that freezing most often occurs in older buildings. Inspections are carried out at sustained subzero air temperatures — below −10 degrees Celsius. It is under such conditions that specialists can record freezing of exterior walls.

Since the beginning of the year, under GHI orders, the region’s utility services have insulated walls in 112 apartments.

Earlier it was reported that after the GHI’s intervention the management company put the entrance areas of an apartment building in Nizhny Novgorod in order.
