Nizhny Novgorod schoolchildren are invited to participate in the "Science Around Us" Olympiad.

      Students of the Nizhny Novgorod region can take part in the online natural sciences olympiad "Science Around Us", which will be held with the support of the national project "Youth and Children".

      Students in grades 1–11 are invited to participate. The event will be held on the Uchi.ru platform from 2 to 29 December 2025. Participants are given one hour to complete the tasks.

      The "Science Around Us" olympiad fosters interest in the natural sciences; helps to better understand the world around us, physics, chemistry, geography and biology; explains various phenomena from a scientific point of view; teaches how to conduct research and to approach problem-solving creatively; and trains logical and visual-figurative thinking.

      All children who take part in the olympiad will receive one of the awards depending on their results, and the teachers of the most active classes will receive letters of appreciation.
