      On the evening of 28 November, a multi-vehicle road traffic accident involving five cars occurred on Ulitsa Geroya Ryabtseva. This was reported by the Traffic Police of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      According to preliminary data, at about 18:20 the driver of a Kia failed to maintain a safe distance and collided with the vehicle traveling ahead. The collision triggered a chain-reaction crash in which four more vehicles sustained mechanical damage.

      As a result, the 38-year-old driver of a Lada — a man born in 1987 — was seriously injured. He was taken to Hospital No. 13 with bodily injuries.

      The circumstances of the incident are being investigated.
