With the support of Tatyana Druzhinina, a ceremonial event was held for the patriotic project "With Our Hearts for Our Own (SVO)".

The patriotic project is being implemented on the initiative of a deputy of the Nizhny Novgorod City Duma, the head of the Coordinating Center for the Support of Servicemen and Their Families at the House of National Unity, Tatyana Druzhinina. The guests of honor at the event were relatives of participants in the special military operation (SMO), as well as activists and volunteers engaged in a humanitarian mission to support our fighters and the peaceful residents of the new regions.

      "With the 'With Our Own at Heart' project we want to support and thank the families of SMO participants for their faith and resilience. They should know that we are with them, that we are proud of our defenders of the Fatherland and always ready to support their loved ones in this difficult time. We also extend special gratitude to the volunteers and organizations that do everything possible for the fighters. Thanks to this assistance, our guys on the front line know they have a strong rear behind them. We have already held six concerts in Nizhny Novgorod, and today — in Dzerzhinsk. We plan to hold such warm meetings in other municipalities of the Nizhny Novgorod region," Tatyana Druzhinina said about the project.

      During the ceremonial part, letters of appreciation were presented to representatives of enterprises, organizations and concerned city residents for their assistance to SMO participants. Among those awarded was Dzerzhinsk resident Elena Kozlova, who has been weaving camouflage nets for more than 2.5 years.

      "I have been helping our guys since the first days of the SMO: at first I bought necessary items and food. Now I weave nets at the volunteer center, and also at my dacha and at home — I made a special stand and use every free minute. This is my support and gratitude to those who defend our country," the volunteer shared.

      The event concluded with a concert-performance by Marina Zamyslova, actress and producer of the "Marina" theater. The artist traveled with a concert troupe to the SMO zone and knows firsthand how important human involvement, mutual support and warmth of spirit are.

      Also, as part of the project, employees of the coordinating center and lawyers from the State Legal Bureau of the Nizhny Novgorod Region provided free consultations for everyone who wished.
