Chemistry quest supported by LUKOIL

      On November 26, in Kstovo, another career-guidance quest, "Chemical Marathon-2025," took place, which, as customary for schoolchildren, is organized by LLC "LUKOIL‑Nizhegorodnefteorgsintez" (a 100% subsidiary of PJSC LUKOIL).

      High-school students from seventeen urban and rural schools of the Kstovo district participated in the chemistry marathon. The students had to complete ten stages of the marathon, demonstrating their knowledge not only in chemistry but also in other scientific fields, as well as showing creativity and resourcefulness.

      As a result of the competition, the victory in the marathon was won by the team composed of students from Secondary School No. 3 and the school of the settlement of Zhdanovsky. In second place was the team from Lyceum No. 7 and Secondary School No. 8. The honorable third place was claimed by students of Gymnasium No. 4 and the school of the settlement Selektsiya.

      In addition to completing the marathon stages, the students were able to learn from presentations about the Educational Center in the city of Kogalym, the Kstovo Oil Technical School named after B.I. Kornilov, and the Career Guidance Center of the CVR named after S.A. Krivorotova.

      Such events not only sustain young participants' interest in chemistry as a science but also prepare them for work at industrial enterprises that are interested in promising young personnel.
