Nizhny Novgorod and Samara companies held more than 220 negotiations during a business mission in the capital of the Volga Federal District.

      More than 220 negotiations were held by Nizhny Novgorod and Samara enterprises during a reverse business mission (18+) in Nizhny Novgorod on 25 November.

      The event was organized by the Samara administration and the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region together with the regional "My Business" center, with support from the Chamber of Commerce and Industry of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The event was attended by 16 Samara enterprises and more than 50 enterprises from the Nizhny Novgorod Region. These include manufacturers and suppliers of industrial machines and special equipment, makers of chemical products, developers of electrical apparatus, construction firms, medical companies, food industry enterprises, and manufacturers of cardboard packaging.

      "Nizhny Novgorod and Samara regions possess significant industrial potential. Direct dialogue with the leadership of Samara, industry departments and support infrastructure allows us to systematically solve tasks aimed at achieving technological leadership. We are meeting with colleagues for the third time this year. In June there was a business mission of Nizhny Novgorod enterprises to Samara, and in October we hosted a delegation from the Samara Region. At the past events seven agreements were signed aimed at working out the supply of construction materials, wire products and composite materials. This time we worked through three more documents," said Maxim Cherkasov.

      "It is important to help develop cooperation between Samara enterprises and other companies in the Volga Federal District. Nizhny Novgorod industrialists already visited Samara this summer on a business visit and found opportunities for further cooperation during business meetings. The business mission to the Nizhny Novgorod Region reinforces the agreements reached in Samara, and also gives Samara enterprises the opportunity to familiarize themselves with the production complex of the neighboring region and to find both potential technical solutions for their enterprises and potential business partners," said the Mayor of Samara, Ivan Noskov.

      During the business mission the Samara delegation is also scheduled to visit enterprises in Nizhny Novgorod, Vyksa, Arzamas, Kstovo and Dzerzhinsk.
