The head of Gorodets, Alexander Mudrov, received the title "Mayor of the Year".

      The head of the Gorodetsky Municipal District, Alexander Mudrov, was named Mayor of the Year by the Russian Public Relations Association. The ceremony for the political award "Hamburg Account" took place in Moscow the day before, on 21 November.

      It should be noted that the Nizhny Novgorod official shared the victory in the "Mayor of the Year" category with his colleague from Kazan, Ilsur Metshin.

      "Thanks to all the residents of the district, to Governor Gleb Sergeyevich Nikitin, and to VARMSU for the support. I will live up to the trust," Mudrov wrote on his Telegram channel.

      Earlier it was reported that Alexander Mudrov received the Medal of the Order "For Merit to the Fatherland" II class. The decree was signed by the President of the Russian Federation, Vladimir Putin.
