The volume of preferential loans from the FRP in the Nizhny Novgorod Region increased 2.3-fold.

      In 2025 the volume of preferential loans provided by the Industrial Development Fund in the Nizhny Novgorod Region increased 2.3 times compared to last year. This was reported by the Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, at a meeting with entrepreneurs "Business Issues: Open Dialogue", noting that business interest in preferential financing has grown significantly.

      According to Gleb Nikitin, the federal and regional industrial development funds are currently implementing 16 support programs. In 2025, within these instruments 28 projects were financed for a total of 14 billion rubles, which is 2.3 times higher than the 2024 figure. The governor emphasized that the Fund provides preferential loans to manufacturing enterprises of small, medium and large businesses.

      In 2024 the Industrial Development Fund issued loans totaling 6.3 billion rubles.

      As the Ministry of Industry, Trade and Entrepreneurship of the Nizhny Novgorod Region reports, the regional industrial development fund performs the functions of a "single window" for financial support. An individual development trajectory is built for each project, which includes a set of regional and federal support measures.

      Deputy Governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Maxim Cherkasov noted that six of the Fund’s own programs operate in the region. They are aimed at the real needs of businesses, with a key emphasis on attracting federal resources. He recalled that over the entire period of the Fund’s operation 45.7 billion rubles have been attracted to the region, with 94% of that amount consisting of federal funds. According to Maxim Cherkasov, the effectiveness of the current system is confirmed by the current results: the volume of financing for 2025 has almost reached one-third of all preferential loans the Fund has provided to businesses over its entire period of operation.
