The all-Russian environmental competition 'Green Zachet' has started.

      The All‑Russian environmental competition "Green Zachet" has launched. According to the organizers, the first stage of the "Green Zachet" online environmental testing is taking place across Russia from November 18 to December 15. The competition is aimed at students in grades 8–11 and first‑ and second‑year university students. Participants who score the highest will advance to the second, in‑person stage. The second stage of the competition will be held in February 2026. Specially for the "Green Zachet," lecturers from the MGRI and the RHTU have developed unique questions in biology, chemistry, geography, and ecology. To participate in the testing, you must register. To do this, go to zelenyzachet.rf and click the "Participate" button. "Ecology needs smart, well‑educated specialists! The All‑Russian testing 'Green Zachet' is an opportunity to check your knowledge and choose a career as an ecologist," Dmitry Kobylkin, Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection, told the participants of the "Green Zachet." The winners of the "Green Zachet" will be determined in February 2026. They will receive additional points for admission to the country's leading universities, and their achievements will be entered into the state resource on persons who have demonstrated outstanding abilities, which provides access to programs at the Sirius University, internships, and scientific‑educational projects. The organizers of the testing are: the Compass Fund for Support and Development of Environmental Initiatives, the D.I. Mendeleev RHTU, the MGRI named after Sergo Ordzhonikidze with the support of ANO "University 2035," the Agency for Strategic Initiatives and ANO "DIALOG," with the support of the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on Ecology, Natural Resources and Environmental Protection and the State Duma Committee of the Russian Federation on Science and Higher Education.
