The abuse of children at a kindergarten in Pavlov has resulted in a criminal case.

      A criminal case was opened over the abuse of toddlers at a kindergarten in Pavlov. This was reported by the Investigative Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      The trigger was information released in a segment of the program "Kstati" (16+). According to the TV reporters, caregivers of the nursery group permitted coarse and humiliating treatment of the children, using obscene language and insults. Parents, concerned about changes in their children's behavior, began their own investigation. One of the mothers, having noticed that her child threw a tantrum at the sight of the group's nanny, hid a voice recorder in his clothing. After listening to the recording, she was shocked by what she heard. On the audio recording, parents say, not only harsh remarks directed at the children were captured, but also possible instances of physical force. Parents filed complaints addressed to the head of the kindergarten and to the education department.

      In talks with journalists, the head of the kindergarten and the head of the education department said that a check is underway, and measures will be taken based on its results.

      The Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Nizhny Novgorod Region opened a criminal case under Article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (torture). The head of the agency instructed the head of the regional investigative directorate, Ayrat Akhmetshin, to report on the progress of the investigation and the established circumstances.

      Earlier it was reported that a criminal case had been opened regarding a severe injury sustained by a very young kindergarten pupil in Lukoyanov.
