      The EMERCOM of the Nizhny Novgorod Region warns of a sharp deterioration in the weather. Heavy deposits of wet snow, black ice and freezing rain are expected in parts of the region. Adverse conditions will persist overnight and into the morning of 16 November 2025.

      Rescuers emphasize that such weather can significantly complicate road conditions. Ice is likely to form on the roads, which increases braking distances.

      The Russian Emergencies Ministry recommends that drivers reduce speed, maintain distance and be especially attentive behind the wheel. Pedestrians are advised to move cautiously, not to rush, and to always make sure it is safe before crossing the roadway.
