      The governor of the Nizhny Novgorod Region, Gleb Nikitin, congratulated judges and employees of the judicial system on Court Workers' Day on November 5.

      The head of the region noted that this holiday was established in the country at the initiative of Supreme Court Chairman Igor Krasnov, supported by Russian President Vladimir Putin.

      "A holiday symbolizing fidelity to justice, legality and order, which our judicial system stands guard over," Gleb Nikitin said.

      The head of the region emphasized the importance of the work of judges, court employees and lawyers. He stated that their work requires not only an absolute knowledge of the law, but also the highest responsibility, integrity, impartiality and the ability to make balanced decisions.

      The governor also noted the role of the judicial system in the life of the region: "The guardians of justice restore fairness, prevent crime and contribute to the strengthening of law and order. Your work helps people gain confidence in tomorrow, protects them from arbitrariness and lawlessness, and devotion to duty serves as an example for new generations of members of the judiciary."

      In conclusion, he wished representatives of the judiciary "good health, inspiration, family well-being and success in all endeavors."
