GUAD received permission for the planning project of a section of the Eastern Bypass.

      The Ministry of Urban Development of the Nizhny Novgorod Region has issued a permit to prepare design documentation for the territorial planning for the sixth stage of the Nizhny Novgorod Eastern Bypass. The corresponding order was published on the agency's website.

      Works will be carried out on the section from house No. 459 in Sloboda Podnovye along the embankment of the Rowing Channel to Lysogorskaya Street. The territory covers the Nizhny Novgorod and Kstovo districts. The total area of the planned zone is about 9.2 hectares (the exact boundaries will be determined during the design process. - Ed. note).

      The documentation will include a planning and land-surveying project. The purpose of the preparation is to allocate elements of the planning structure, establish red lines, define the boundaries of zones for siting capital construction facilities, and to ensure the sustainable development of the area.

      The permit was issued to the Main Directorate of Motor Roads of the region (State Public Institution of the Nizhny Novgorod Region "GUAD"). The works will be financed from the regional budget.

      Earlier it was reported that preparations for the construction of the Nizhny Novgorod Eastern Bypass are ongoing; however, a final agreement on project implementation has not yet been concluded. The regional government is considering two concession initiatives and is negotiating with potential investors.
