The sections of Nizhny Novgorod where tram tracks are being replaced have been announced.

      A large-scale reconstruction of tram infrastructure continues in Nizhny Novgorod. The regional Ministry of Transport listed on its Telegram channel the sections where work is being carried out.

      On Osharskaya Street, specialists are rearranging the gas pipeline, laying cast asphalt concrete and installing the overhead contact network.

      In the Black Pond area, stormwater drainage is being reconfigured, an excavation is being carried out, the base is being reinforced with rebar, and the contact network is being installed.

      At the Zelensky Descent, work continues on forming the base and landscaping the area.

      On the section of Ilyinskaya Street — from Maslyakova Street to Dobrolyubova Street — rails are being laid, aluminothermic welding is being performed, tracks are being leveled, the top slab is being installed, and composite casings are being fitted on the gas pipeline.

      Between 1 May Park and Aksakov Street, workers are assembling the rail‑sleeper grid, performing ballasting and track alignment, installing the contact network and the lower reinforced‑concrete slab, and carrying out welding work.

      On the stretch from the Malyshevo loop to the loop in Gnilitsy, landscaping and laying of cast asphalt concrete continue.

      On the sections between the "Sotsgorod‑1" and "Sotsgorod‑2" stops, construction of the natural subgrade and laying of the rail‑sleeper grid are underway.
