Negotiations on direct flights from Nizhny Novgorod to the UAE continue.

      The question of launching direct air service between Nizhny Novgorod and the UAE is still under consideration. This was reported to NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" by the press service of the government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region.

      As early as February 2025, Nizhny Novgorod residents were told about plans to organize flights to Dubai, with the possibility that flights could start before the end of the year. Negotiations were held with the airline FlyDubai.

      However, flights to the UAE have still not appeared in the schedule of Chkalov Airport.

      As the editorial office of NIA "Nizhny Novgorod" clarified, mutual interest in the route remains, but the project requires additional detailing and approvals.

      "It is premature to speak about specific launch dates at the moment," the regional government noted.

      Earlier it became known where it will be possible to fly from Nizhny Novgorod in the winter of 2025/2026.
