      Zakhar Sidorenko became the new general director of the Central Design Bureau for Hydrofoil Shipbuilding named after R.E. Alexeev. His candidacy was supported by all the company's shareholders during an extraordinary absentee vote, the design bureau's report says.

      As a result of the vote Sidorenko received 47,588 votes; the decision was made unanimously. The new head will hold the post for two years.

      The previous head of the CDB, Evgeny Tsyplenkov, left the post early. He had led the bureau since February 2024, replacing Sergey Italyantsev, who had headed the organization since 2018.

      It was earlier reported that a court recovered almost 28 million rubles from the CDB in relation to the Alexeev SPK.
