Ticket sales have begun at the Nizhny Novgorod A. S. Pushkin Opera and Ballet Theatre for New Year's performances of the ballet "The Nutcracker" (0+). The shows will run from December 24 to January 6, and, as usual, interest is huge.
Prices range from 800 to 8,000 rubles. For example, on December 27 they cost from 1,000 to 8,000 rubles, and on January 5 — from 800 to 6,000. The most expensive seats are traditionally in the stalls.
Although sales have only just begun, spectators are already snapping up tickets. For the nearest dates almost half the auditorium is booked. There are many more seats available for the performances that will take place on the January weekends.
On January 4, 5 and 6 options for 800 rubles are still available. The top price on those days is 6,000 rubles.
Earlier it was reported that the opera theatre unveiled a new curtain in an avant-garde style in honor of the theatre's 90th anniversary.
