Foreign car hits 10-year-old girl near Sovetskaya Square — video

In Nizhny Novgorod, near Sovetskaya Square, a serious traffic accident involving a child occurred. It all happened on October 24, but video from the scene only appeared online now.
According to the traffic police (GIBDD), on Vaneeva Street a 42-year-old woman driving a KIA struck a 10-year-old girl. The child was crossing the road at an undesignated spot, a few meters from the pedestrian crossing.
Immediately after the collision, passersby and drivers who witnessed the accident ran up to the girl. The injured girl was taken by ambulance to the regional children's hospital.
Traffic police are investigating all the circumstances of the incident.
Earlier it was reported that in Nizhny Novgorod the police are looking for the driver who hit a 14-year-old girl at an uncontrolled pedestrian crossing on Mineeva Street.
