A meeting has been scheduled with the residents of Novinki regarding the construction of a Wildberries warehouse.

      A date has been set in Nizhny Novgorod for a meeting with residents regarding the construction of a Wildberries logistics center in the Novinki settlement. This was reported by the regional Ministry of Urban Development on its official social media pages.

      The meeting (18+) will take place on November 8 at 14:00 at Novinki settlement, Parkovaya Street, 1A.

      The meeting is expected to consider issues of comprehensive territorial development, including the construction of the warehouse, improvement of the area, and the development of social and transport infrastructure.

      An open dialogue with residents will be led by Deputy Chairman of the Government of the Nizhny Novgorod Region Ivan Kargin. Also participating in the event will be the region’s human rights commissioner Oksana Kislitsyna, Deputy Mayor Denis Skalkin, and representatives of relevant ministries and agencies.

      Previously the meeting had been planned for October 25, but it was postponed.

      The warehouse is planned to be built on a plot of 33.5 hectares within the boundaries of Parkovaya, Vysokaya and Poletnaya streets and road 22-401. Local residents are opposed. In their view, the project’s implementation could negatively affect the quality of life in the settlement and in the Oksky Bereg residential complex.
